Calistoga Christian Center is AWESOME at Outreach!
Below is information about just a few of our recent efforts and activities - both Internationally and within the Calistoga Community.

International Christian Ministry
 When relatives returned from a trip to the Philippines, they told us about the living conditions of some of the people there.
Childrens' basic nutritional requirements are not being met - even milk is a luxury - and most of the time they go to bed hungry because there is simply no food to eat.
Housing is inadequate, cramped, and unhealthy. One family (whom we now support) had 7 children all living in one small shack, sharing a single, tiny bedroom.
After seeing the video and the pictures, we knew we had to do something ... we have so much compared to what they have. This is how our International Ministry began.
 Philippines Outreach
We send care packages to five different families in the Philippines. Each Care package includes: powdered milk, oatmeal, coffee, sugar, soap, clothes, tea, shoes, spaghetti, canned goods. etc. All basic things that we tend to take for granted and forget we have - but these items mean a meal, a bath, and a change of clothes to these families.

Christian Outreach in our Community
 The Gift of Sound
"I can even hear the birds singing"
Filipe - a member of Calistoga Christian Center - said he hasn't heard that in a long time. He is almost totally deaf in one ear, and has a great deal of difficulty hearing speech and distinguishing sounds that normally hearing persons often take for granted.
Calistoga Christian Center collected donations, pooled the church funds, and on Sunday, September 16, 2007 - Pastor Tomas and First Lady Roxanna presented a very happy Filipe with a new hearing aid.

Annual "Free Backpacks for Kids" Program

"Free Backpacks for Kids"
August 16th, 2008
9am-12noon at the Farmers Market
Once again Pastors Tom & Roxanna of C.C.C.
will be donating Backpacks filled with basic school supplies
to the needy children of migrant workers in the Napa Valley
when accompanied by parent.
Corporate sponsors needed. School supplies donations accepted.

 Christmas Toy Giveaway
Our annual "Christmas Toy Giveaway" is always a joyous event here at Calistoga Christian Center.
In December 2006 we handed out 700 toys to needy children in Calistoga. See photos
For 2007, our goal was to meet even more new friends, and reach more children and their families. It was standing room only with around 200 in attendance. There were over 50 people who came forward to accept the Lord
